Botosoft Technologies Makes History in Nairobi, Kenya


Leading British security solutions company, Botosoft Technologies has branched out into one of the largest commercial hubs in Africa – Nairobi. In partnership with the British High Commission, the launch was officially announced at a private cocktail party at the lawn of the British Deputy High Commissioner’s residence in Nairobi. The move is part of the company’s commitment and mission to make life easy in East Africa by making bespoke security solutions accessible to the region using Kenya as the hub.

The event hosted a wide range of attendees including the UK Deputy High Commissioner, Susie Kitchens; Chairman of Cornfield Group, Dr Babatope Agbeyo; CEO of Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), Dr Julius Jwan; Director of ICT, Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), Dr. Ibrahim Otieno; Vice Chancellor, Africa International University, Prof. Dankit Nassiuma and CEO of Almasi Beverages Limited; Mrs. Joyce Macharia among others.

Commenting on the dangers of product counterfeiting, document forgery and exam malpractices, Susan Kitchens, the British Deputy High Commissioner said that a joint response was needed to stamp out these social vices and that she was “really proud” that the British company, Botosoft Technologies had come to be part of that response.

CEO of Botosoft Technologies, Mr Tolulope Agbeyo expressed his delight in having the presence of Botosoft Technologies in Kenya, the cradle of technological innovations in Africa. While commenting on the mission of Botosoft Technologies in Kenya, he mentioned, “We are in this exotic, beautiful and insightful nation with our solemn promise to contribute significantly to the improvement of quality of lives with our highly innovative technological solutions and ultimately make life easier for citizens of this dear nation of Kenya”.

Botosoft UK’s Business Development Manager, Reeta Behm, gave an overview of how each solution works and how they have been used to meet clients’ differing specifications.  This was followed by a comprehensive demo of how Botoseal™ −a solution for brand and document protection –works.

The new Botosoft Kenya office which is located at Eden Square, Westlands in Nairobi offers custom-built identity management, document security, biometric verification and brand protection solutions, just like other Botosoft offices around the world.

Botosoft Technologies has consistently played a prominent role in the global tech industry, having its hub in London, UK as well as Nigeria.
